Kindle fans can bag a £66 discount one of Amazon’s best-selling devices – but you’ll have to be quick.

The newest gen Kindle Colorsoft has a limited time discount of 27% on Amazon.

This takes the price of the popular device, which has colour display and 16GB of storage from £239.99 to £174.

Plus if you’re looking to upgrade your Kindle from an older model, then you can trade-in your current Kindle and get another 20% off the Colorsoft.

Some of its features include a 7-inch display, which is high-contrast with paper-like colour that brings covers and content to life.

You can highlight text in yellow, orange, blue, and pink, adjust the display from white to amber to read in sunlight or in the dark.

It can last up to eight weeks on a single charge via USB-C, and the device is waterproof, so you can don’t need to worry when reading by the pool or in the bath.

More than 1,500 shoppers have tried and tested the Kindle Colorsoft, giving it an average rating of 4.4 stars on Amazon.

One customer said in their five-star review that the device is ‘a great upgrade to a 10 year old Paperwhite’.

“Bigger screen, nicer reading background colour, more options. I wasn’t really sure about the need for colour but glad I chose this option. I like the screen saver option of the front of the current book too – feels closer to the paperback experience,” they added.

Another wrote: “Love it! Fantastic battery life (just remember to keep on flight mode when you’re not downloading new content). Good quality image, plenty of capacity. Easy to use and lightweight for travel.

While a third said: “This is the best decision I’ve made to buy one of these, I’ve always been on the fence about e-readers, usually preferring physical books, but this is great!

“The screen is clear and easy to read as you can adjust font sizes, types and the colour of the page itself. There’s also a day/night cycle option where you can set the screen warmth and brightness to increase or decrease depending on your preferences.”
