Bournemouth said they are aware of the posts, that were not made by Jiménez, and have made clear their understanding of the seriousness of the situation.
Their statement reads: “AFC Bournemouth are aware of posts circulating on social media involving right-back, Alex Jimenez.

“As a result, Alex will not be included in the squad for tomorrow’s Premier League game against Fulham and the club will be making no further comment at this time.”
Jimenez, 21, has played for the south coast Premier League side since September 2025.
The Spaniard initially joined from Italian giants AC Milan on a year-long loan deal, but this was made permanent in January of this year.
