Apple’s most affordable Mac has been given a further discount for a limited time – but you’ll have to be quick.
Amazon has dropped the price of the MacBook Neo from £599 to £549.97, marking a £50 discount on the tech giant’s lowest priced Mac.
It also marks the cheapest price of the Neo on the market, with rivals such as Currys and Very stocking the device at its original £599 price.
The MacBook Neo is powered by the A18 Pro chip, the same one that Apple puts into its iPhone Pro lineup.
So it can handle everyday tasks as well as make room for more demanding work, from editing photos, powering through spreadsheets, using AI to summarise class notes or streaming shows.
It has a 13-inch display to deliver vivid images and crisp text, up to 16 hours of battery life, 1080p FaceTime HD camera for calls and video meetings as well as Spatial Audio support.
One customer said it’s a ’10/10 Macbook’ adding: “Amazing device, great display and speakers too! Runs very smoothly with no lag whatsoever.”
Another wrote: “I’ve been using the MacBook Neo and it is absolutely perfect, as long as you know what you’re using it for. Any light task such as photo editing; Word processing; emails; Internet; YouTube; Netflix; anything like that and it is perfect.
“Screen quality is absolutely beautiful. It’s so vivid, comparing it to a Windows laptop or Chromebook which normally has a really bad screen.”
While a third said: “Great value for an Apple product, lightweight, good battery life; always great to get a new Apple product and check out what’s new, and this one doesn’t disappoint.”
