Donald Trump gets brutally mocked on Presidents’ Day by floats at German festival

He won’t be happy.

Donald Trump has been brutally mocked as he celebrated Presidents’ Day in the United States.

Over in Germany, Düsseldorf’s infamous Rose Monday carnival parade delivered a relentless dose of Trump satire.

Towering floats rolling through the city showed Trump in a string of outrageous scenes.

One float saw the President throwing punches at Jesus Christ with ICE on his arm.

Another, cuddling up to Vladimir Putin.

And a third had him dancing with his tongue out and trousers down while kissing the Statue of Liberty.

That being said, Trump wasn’t the only target.

The Düsseldorf parade, shaped in large part by satirical float maker Jacques Tilly, also took aim at other global figures and scandals, including Russia’s Vladimir Putin and the ongoing public fallout around Jeffrey Epstein.

The parade is intended to present a whole gallery of political and cultural targets, turning them into a form of public protest.

Düsseldorf and other German carnival cities have a long tradition of using floats to mock leaders, expose hypocrisy, and puncture the seriousness of power.

The floats are built to be photographed, shared, argued over, and remembered.
