Tommy Robinson says he’s fled the UK after being declared a ‘priority target’ for ISIS

“I have now left the country.”

Tommy Robinson says he’s fled the UK after being named one of ISIS’ ‘priority targets’.

Writing on X, he put: “BREAKING NEWS: I’M A PRIORITY TARGET FOR ISIS!!!

“I have now left the country, I need time to work things out for my safety and the safety of my family.

“I will probably have to relocate them.

“I will update you when I can.”

This was shared alongside a three-minute video in which Robinson says he has been told by police that a publication related to terrorist group ISIS are “encouraging others to commit violence” against him.

Bedfordshire Police have confirmed that the phone call is legitimate and happened on Thursday, via Metro.

An officer can be heard saying in the phone call: “Just remind, you know, because of this information, it doesn’t authorise you to carry weapons, anything like that, take any pre-emptive action against others, if you’re aware of any action.”

A spokesperson for Bedfordshire Police said: “Yesterday, officers contacted a man from Bedfordshire after being made aware that his name appeared in prohibited material produced by a proscribed organisation.

“He was provided with safeguarding advice and support in line with our standard processes.”

ISIS are a proscribed organisation in the UK. Also known as ISIL or Daesh, the group held significant territory in Syria and Iraq in 2013, but lost most of it by 2019.

The terrorist organisation is known for its brutality, and have claimed responsibility terrorist massacres across the world, including the 2017 Manchester Arena bombing and the 2025 Manchester synagogue attack on Yom Kippur.
