He left the room
The mounting pressure on Senegal head coach Pape Thiaw reached a new high on Sunday evening, as the 44-year-old was seen storming out of a press conference.
Thiaw responded to loud boos from Moroccan journalists by leaving the room, after his side’s 1-0 Afcon final victory.
The tournament-winning manager has been accused of causing the chaotic conclusion to the tournament’s grand final, after he was seen calling for his players to leave the pitch in protest to a last-minute penalty awarded to the host nation.
Following a 15 minute disruption, Sadio Mane is said to have finally persuaded his teammates to return to the pitch, allowing the match to continue.

Incredibly, in the following minutes, Brahim Diaz went on to miss his spot kick, after attempting a poorly executed panenka.
Senegal would win the game, thanks to an extra-time winner.
In the minutes after full-time, the Senegalese manager had to fulfil his responsibilities by speaking to journalists.
At the conference, he was met with a hostile reaction from Moroccan reporters, who could be heard booing the 44 year-old.
When organisers failed to calm the room down, Thiaw could then be seen leaving.
While his side’s victory in the tournament cannot be disputed, it remains to be seen if there are any further concequences for Thiaw’s alleged role disrupting the African continent’s biggest match.
