Paris Saint Germain are already preparing for the mammoth Champions League final clash against Arsenal with a bizarre rugby training technique.
Known for their world-class set-piece methods to score goals, The Gunners are probably the best in the world at what they do.
Time after time opponents have come unstuck from Mikel Arteta’s genius corner techniques, a major asset in propelling the side not only to top of the Premier League table, but to the Champions League final in Budapest.
They face a serious opponent though: Luis Enrique’s reigning champions. Current holders after thrashing Inter Milan 5-0 last season, they also managed to see off Vincent Kompany’s free-flowing Bundesliga championing Bayern Munich in the Allianz Arena, courtesy of an early Ousmane Dembele finish.
And Enrique’s side are not going to be intimidated by the prospect of incredibly dangerous corners. So much, that the goalkeepers have been using rugby pads when preparing for training.
