Experience the thrill of Silverstone across the July weekend

July sees the return of the British Grand Prix, which is taking place at Silverstone. You can expect four days of thrills and electric racing.

Jim Beam, the world’s No. 1 bourbon, is tapping into the excitement around one of motorsports’ most anticipated new teams as the official spirits partner of the Cadillac Formula 1® Team.

This is a partnership 90 years in the making.

Jim Beam, the brand’s legendary founder, would place a mason jar of his proprietary yeast, the heart of his protected recipe, in the front seat of his Cadillac and drive it home from the distillery to protect it from fire and the omnipresent threat of prohibition. He did this ritual every evening, helping to preserve the essential ingredients which continue to be enjoyed around the world.

Today, Fred Noe, Jim Beam’s seventh-generation master distiller, also drives a Cadillac. This is a touching tribute to the car that helped safeguard his family’s legacy.

To celebrate Cadillac joining the British Grand Prix, Jim Beam is giving both new and existing fans the chance to win tickets to Silverstone in July.

To enter, all you have to do is buy a bottle of Jim Beam in participating retailers between now and May 31st.* It’s really that simple!

This also includes their Jim Beam White, Jim Beam Black Cherry, Jim Beam Pineapple, and Jim Beam Black, so you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to flavour.

There are five pairs of tickets up for grabs along with tonnes of additional prizes. Some of these prizes at selected retailers include Jim Beam x Cadillac Formula 1® Team merchandise packs and Jim Beam cocktail kits.

35ml Jim Beam White Label

Method: Fill a tall glass with ice cubes and pour 35ml Jim Beam White Label over the ice and add lemonade. Stir gently to combine the ingredients and garnish your cocktail with a lemon slice.

Jim Beam Kentucky Sunrise

35ml Jim Beam White Label

Method: In a glass with ice, pour Jim Beam White Label and orange juice. Slowly pour the grenadine syrup into the glass. The grenadine will sink to the bottom, creating a beautiful sunrise effect. Use a spoon to gently stir the grenadine into the drink just slightly, creating a gradient effect while still leaving some of the grenadine settled at the bottom. Garnish your Kentucky Sunrise with an orange slice and/or a cherry.

Jim Beam Pineapple and Lemonade

150ml Lemonade (option to swap for soda)

Method: Fill a tall glass with ice cubes and pour 35ml Jim Beam Pineapple over the ice and add lemonade. Stir the ingredients and garnish your cocktail with a pineapple slice or lime wedge. Option to add Pineapple Juice. Replace the lemonade and add pineapple juice over ice with a lime garnish.

Jim Beam Pineapple Colada

Glassware: Highball/ Tall Glass

Method: Add all ingredients, along with the ice, into a blender and mix until smooth. Pour into a tall glass and garnish with a pineapple wedge.

So what more are you waiting for? Head down to your local participating Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Co-op or Morrisons and pick up a bottle of Jim Beam from now until May 31st to be in with a chance to win tickets for you and a friend to have a day out at the Silverstone races.
