The Tudor era could be over
Igor Tudor’s days at Tottenham Hotspur could already be numbered.
After three matches, fans are in despair at the prospect of a daunting drop to the Championship, a situation so unprecedented for a club of Spurs’ stature.
Under the new Croatian gaffer, things have not gone to plan in the slightest. Arsenal came and conquered, Fulham saw them off and most notably, Crystal Palace comfortably turned the tie on its head to run out 3-1 victors.
There is panic amongst the supporters. So much that, as per reports, the club could consider a switch of manager – already.
Italian press, Corriere dello Sport, are reporting that should the club move Tudor on, they would look to Thiago Motta as a replacement.
Motta, still just 43, has had an interesting management career so far.
Starting at Genoa in 2019, he then transitioned to Spezia in 2021. Following that, a successful spell at Bologna came, before a major move to the Old Lady of Juventus in 2024.
He has been without a management role since 2025 after leaving the Turin giants.
