Happy Quizzing!
This week’s quiz intro must begin with an apology: last week, I wrote all about what I hoped would be the start of a new heatwave, only for the skies to have fully clouded over by the time it reached you!
Fortunately, nature has been forgiving, and the sun has made a serious return, shining all week. Lesson learned, I’ll steer clear of predicting the future from now on.
To make up for that misplaced optimism, this week’s intro is short and sweet.
In just a few days time, the 2026 Cheltenham Festival begins and, in its honour, we’ve dedicated a full quizzing special round. The other is on hit BBC show Peaky Blinders, just in time for the franchise’s first feature film arriving on screens later this week.
