Shoppers are ditching Apple AirPods for these noise cancelling earbuds that are less than £50.
The EarFun earbuds boast a noise cancellation function, which some AirPod models don’t have, so you can fully immerse yourself in music, podcasts, and more.
They have built-in mics, so you can make calls while reducing background noise, and in-ear detection so you can play or pause audio, or phone calls simply by inserting or removing an earbud.
The EarFun Air Pro 4s offer 52 hours of playtime with quick charging thanks to the earbud case, or 11 hours on a single charge. While a 10-minute fast charge gives you 2 hours of playtime.
More than 5,000 shoppers have tried and tested the earbuds, giving them an average rating of 4.4 stars on Amazon.
A number of customers have compared them to more expensive headphones from the likes of Apple, with one shopper saying they’re “a great alternative”.
They added: “I can’t believe how good these are. I was originally going to buy the Apple AirPods for my iPhone but I didn’t want to pay the price.
“I was dubious at first but then thought I will try them and I’m so pleased I did. The sound quality is great, the noise cancelling good and the charge lasts amazingly well. They hooked up to my iPhone easily and I love the app to control them. Best of all, they are so comfortable to wear. I’ve had problems in the past with ear phones being uncomfortable but these are amazing.”
Another wrote: “Having used Apple ear buds for a few years I was very pleased at the quality of these. The fit is great with a wide range of pads supplied and the noise cancelling much better than expected. Great value!”
While a third said: “Have to say I am impressed considering the price difference they are great and the app has plenty of features and customisation.”
In a more mixed review, one shopper said they’re “great value” versus AirPods but “80% as good” in terms of quality.
