{"id":5525,"date":"2026-05-10T14:00:43","date_gmt":"2026-05-10T14:00:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.worldpumpnews.com\/?p=5525"},"modified":"2026-05-10T14:00:43","modified_gmt":"2026-05-10T14:00:43","slug":"uk-music-festival-shut-down-after-two-people-stabbed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.worldpumpnews.com\/?p=5525","title":{"rendered":"UK music festival shut down after two people stabbed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div><!--$--><\/p>\n<p><h2>Hundreds of people had to evacuate. <\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p><!--\/$--><!--$--><\/p>\n<div class=\"custom-prose drop-cap \">\n<p>Two men were stabbed and hundreds of people were forced to evacuate a Birmingham music event on Saturday night.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--\/$--><!--$--><\/p>\n<div class=\"custom-prose  \">\n<p>West Midlands Police were called to Luna Springs on Lower Trinity Street in Digbeth at approximately 7pm following reports of a double stabbing at the Cru2 event.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--\/$--><!--$--><!--\/$--><!--$--><\/p>\n<div class=\"custom-prose  \">\n<p>Both victims were taken to hospital, with their injuries described as not believed to be life-threatening.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--\/$--><!--$?--><template id=\"B:0\"\/><!--\/$--><!--$--><\/p>\n<div class=\"custom-prose  \">\n<p>A police spokeswoman said: &#8220;We were called to Lower Trinity Street, shortly before 7pm last night to reports two men had been stabbed and taken to hospital.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--\/$--><!--$--><\/p>\n<div class=\"custom-prose  \">\n<p>&#8220;Officers remain in the area and at the scene while an investigation takes place to understand exactly what happened and find those responsible.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--\/$--><!--$--><\/p>\n<div class=\"custom-prose  \">\n<p>Attendees were told to leave the outdoor venue as the incident unfolded, with a message appearing on the screen behind the DJ booth initially reading: &#8220;There has been an incident.
