{"id":5430,"date":"2026-05-06T00:12:21","date_gmt":"2026-05-06T00:12:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.worldpumpnews.com\/?p=5430"},"modified":"2026-05-06T00:12:21","modified_gmt":"2026-05-06T00:12:21","slug":"an-urgent-warning-is-issued-for-brits-travelling-on-these-airlines","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.worldpumpnews.com\/?p=5430","title":{"rendered":"An urgent warning is issued for Brits travelling on these airlines"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div><!--$--><\/p>\n<p><h2>These holiday tips might come in handy<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p><!--\/$--><!--$--><\/p>\n<div class=\"custom-prose drop-cap \">\n<p>If you are one who has already booked your holidays with certain airlines, there is new advice given by personal finance expert Martin Lewis.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--\/$--><!--$--><\/p>\n<div class=\"custom-prose  \">\n<p>Lewis has issued a stark warning to those who have snapped up a holiday for this summer, as he has urged to take notes those who have paid for holidays with major companies and airlines.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--\/$--><!--$--><!--\/$--><!--$--><\/p>\n<div class=\"custom-prose  \">\n<p>Those include airlines such as TUI, Jet2, Ryanair, Wizz, easyJet and British Airways.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--\/$--><!--$?--><template id=\"B:0\"\/><!--\/$--><!--$?--><template id=\"B:1\"\/><!--\/$--><!--$--><\/p>\n<div class=\"custom-prose  \">\n<p>The Money Saving Expert founder warned that failing to take one crucial step after booking could leave holidaymakers with absolutely nothing if things don\u2019t go as planned.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--\/$--><!--$--><\/p>\n<div class=\"custom-prose  \">\n<p>Lewis cautioned that those who book a holiday and delay taking out insurance could stand to lose everything should something go wrong in the meantime, as the ongoing situation in the Middle East is raising serious concerns over jet fuel supplies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--\/$--><!--$--><\/p>\n<div class=\"custom-prose  \">\n<p>Speaking on his Money Show Live on ITV, the expert stressed that you should purchase travel insurance the moment you book a holiday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--\/$--><!--$--><\/p>\n<div class=\"custom-prose  \">\n<p>\u201cThe reason you do that is because half of the cover you&#8217;re paying for is in case something happens that stops you going before the trip. And if you don&#8217;t have the travel insurance place, you&#8217;ve got no cover\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--\/$--><!--$?--><template id=\"B:2\"\/><!--\/$--><!--$--><\/p>\n<div class=\"custom-prose  \">\n<p>\u201cSo, you may as well have it in place. But at this time of year when many people have already booked, I have a slight adaptation, which is this. If you&#8217;ve booked and you don&#8217;t have it yet, just get it now. Get it done as soon as possible\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--\/$--><!--$?--><template id=\"B:3\"\/><!--\/$--><!--$?--><template id=\"B:4\"\/><!--\/$--><!--$--><\/p>\n<div class=\"custom-prose  \">\n<p>Lewis also made it clear that holidaymakers would forfeit their hotel booking expenses if they had organised accommodation separately from flights booked with carriers such as Jet2, TUI, Wizz, Ryanair or easyJet &#8211; as they would not be safeguarded under consumer regulations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--\/$--><!--$--><\/p>\n<div class=\"custom-prose  \">\n<p>\u201cNo. And I think this is what people need to be very aware of.
