Clark was also a director, heading up the 1988 feature\u00a0Da<\/em>\u00a0(1988), starring Bernard Hughes, Martin Sheen and his onetime acting teacher, William Hickey. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The film is about a New York playwright summoned to Ireland to bury his father.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Clark was born in Washington on Nov. 25, 1936, and raised in Arlington, Virginia.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

He is survived by his daughter Amiee, his third wife, Sharon, his sons, Matthias Clark, Jason Clark and Seth Clark.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
