collapsed<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p><!--\/$--><!--$--><\/p>\n<div class=\"custom-prose drop-cap \">\n<p>A major UK train station has been closed indefinitely after a huge fire tore through a nearby building last night.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--\/$--><!--$--><\/p>\n<div class=\"custom-prose  \">\n<p>Dramatic videos and images from the scene showed the blaze tear through a vape shop located near to the station.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--\/$--><!--$--><!--\/$--><!--$--><\/p>\n<div class=\"custom-prose  \">\n<p>Emergency services were first alerted to the fire at the location near to Glasgow Central Station just before 4pm yesterday, with the inferno eventually consuming the four-storey building which has now partially collapsed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--\/$--><!--$--><!--\/$--><!--$--><\/p>\n<div class=\"custom-prose  \">\n<p>The location, known as the Forsyth Building, is a B-listed building which was constructed in 1851.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--\/$--><!--$--><\/p>\n<div class=\"custom-prose  \">\n<p>Yesterday, a\u00a0Scottish\u00a0Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: &#8220;More than 60 firefighters are currently working to tackle a large building fire on Union Street, Glasgow.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--\/$--><!--$--><!--\/$--><!--$--><\/p>\n<div class=\"custom-prose  \">\n<p>&#8220;We were alerted at 3.46pm to reports of a building fire on Union Street, Glasgow.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--\/$--><!--$--><\/p>\n<div class=\"custom-prose  \">\n<p>&#8220;At its height, nine fire appliances and specialist resources were mobilised to the area, where firefighters are currently working to extinguish a fire affecting the ground floor of a four-storey building.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--\/$--><!--$--><!--\/$--><!--$--><\/p>\n<div class=\"custom-prose  \">\n<p>&#8220;There are no reported casualties, and crews remain at the scene.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--\/$--><!--$--><\/p>\n<div class=\"custom-prose  \">\n<p>The firefighting effort continued Rail&#8217;s Glasgow Central account posted on X: &#8220;Glasgow Central station remains closed this morning following yesterday&#8217;s devastating fire in a shop on Union
