YouTuber and media personality KSI has announced that he has purchased a famous English football club. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The boxer and musician, as well as YouTuber, revealed plans to bring the club all the way to the Premier League as being amongst his ambitions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
<\/p>\n
The 32-year-old has agreed a deal in principle to join non-league Dagenham & Redbridge as part of their ownership group.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Announcing the news of his investment in the sixth-tier side on X, KSI said: “I\u2019m so excited to start this journey.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
<\/p>\n
“It\u2019s gonna be a rollercoaster for sure but I hope to bring Dagenham and Redbridge \u2026\u00a0back to the glory days,” he added.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“For those of you that are OG fans (Race to Division One), you\u2019ll know that this is a full circle moment for me. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
<\/p>\n
“So join me on this exhilarating adventure and I\u2019ll see you all at Victoria road this Saturday! I\u2019ll be streaming too haha\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Per The Athletic, KSI has bought a 20% stake in Dagenham & Redbridge.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
<\/p>\n
He supports U.S.-based investment consortium Happy Fan Group, who bought into the Daggers last month. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
<\/p>\n
Since founding a YouTube channel in 2009, KSI \u2014 real name Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji\u2014 has become one of the video platform’s greatest success stories, amassing some 75 million followers across his various social media accounts. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While KSI’s ambitions for his new club are clearly lofty, with the 32-year-old saying: “With this club I want to do the unthinkable, I want to take Dagenham & Redbridge to the\u00a0Premier League. It’s going to take time but realistic stages, I think getting out of this league and entering the National League,” in an announcement video, his exact day-to-day role is yet to be fully laid out. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
