<\/p>\nSpurs have made an important decision in their plans to appoint a new manager, following the departure of Thomas Frank on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

According to Sky Sports reporter Lyall Thomas, the north Londoners are likely to appoint an interim head coach for the time being, rather than bringing in a permanent manager mid-season. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

They would then look to bring in an established manager at the end of the season. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
<\/p>\n
This decision could point towards an interest in bringing back Mauricio Pochettino. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
<\/p>\n
The Argentine is currently working for the USMNT, and is expected to lead the host nation into this summer’s World Cup, but will be available from July, when his contract expires. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
