{"id":3006,"date":"2026-01-27T15:58:14","date_gmt":"2026-01-27T15:58:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.worldpumpnews.com\/?p=3006"},"modified":"2026-01-27T15:58:14","modified_gmt":"2026-01-27T15:58:14","slug":"full-list-of-sites-to-close-as-major-uk-bar-chain-goes-into-administration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.worldpumpnews.com\/?p=3006","title":{"rendered":"Full list of sites to close as major UK bar chain goes into administration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-here-are-all-the-places-that-will-close\">Here are all the places that will close<\/h2>\n<p>As many as 2,200 jobs are at risk, as the owner of Revolucion de Cuba and Peach Pubs is to go into administration.<\/p>\n<p>The parent company with 62 pubs and bars across Britain, Revel Collective, put itself up for sale in October after facing what it called \u201ca continued period of external challenges\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>According to the company, discussions with a buyer are \u201cwell advanced\u201d but it had filed to enter administration.<\/p>\n<p>The shareholders in the company are to be left with nothing after the sale, the company said on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The company\u2019s pubs and bars also include the Revolution bar chain affectionately known as \u201cRevs\u201d, and they will stay open through the process.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-locations-of-the-revolution-sites-to-close-are\">The locations of the Revolution sites to close are:<\/h2>\n<p>Manchester (Oxford Road), Huddersfield, Leicester, Glasgow (Renfield Street), Cardiff, Nottingham, Leeds, Sheffield, Ipswich, Manchester (Parsonage Gardens), Plymouth, Durham, Exeter and Preston.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-locations-of-the-revolucion-de-cuba-sites-to-close-are\">The locations of the Revolucion de Cuba sites to close are:<\/h2>\n<p>Cardiff, Derby, Liverpool, Reading, Harrogate and Aberdeen<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-location-of-the-peach-site-to-close-is\">The location of the Peach site to close is:<\/h2>\n<p>Kenilworth (The Almanack) <\/p>\n<p>Administrators for Revel Collective will be appointed within 10 days, the company said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>It also confirmed the deals being considered will wipe out shareholders and that it was entering administration to \u201cprotect creditors\u201d, such as banks.<\/p>\n<p>The company said in December that it was publicly linked with hospitality groups including bar and club owner Neos Hospitality, and that it had found \u201ca significant number\u201d of potential buyers.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>Last autumn, when it put itself up for sale, Revel Collective blamed \u201cchallenging economic conditions\u201d and decisions taken by Chancellor Rachel Reeves in Labour\u2019s first Budget after coming to power in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>An announcement on a sale is expected in the coming days.<\/p>\n<p>    <!-- Bottom ad unit --><\/p>\n<p>    <!-- Custom pseudo content\/category -->\n            <\/div>\n<p>#Full #list #sites #close #major #bar #chain #administration<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here are all the places that will close As many as 2,200 jobs are at risk, as the owner of Revolucion de Cuba and Peach Pubs is to go into administration.
