An update on potential vaping ban in pubs across the UK has been issued by the government.<\/p>\n
A ban on the selling of single-use vapes came into effect last summer, a move that was seen as a first step in an overall government ambition to tackle the alarming rise in youth vaping.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the Tobacco and Vapes Bill that was submitted for parliamentary approval last year aims to create a \u201csmokefree generation\u201d by preventing future sales of tobacco to those born after Jan 1, 2009.<\/p>\n
The bill passed through the House of Lords committee stage last November, while it is currently in a report stage before it is carried through for a third and final reading in the Lords.<\/p>\n
It will progress to the final two stages after that, and they include a consideration of amendments and a royal assent.<\/p>\n
The bill would empower the government to extend smoke-free rules to include vaping in enclosed public places, if passed.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Tobacco and Vapes Bill gives the Government powers to make most public places and workplaces that are smoke-free also vape-free\u201d, according to Health minister Ashley Dalton.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe plan to consult on making most indoor settings, that are subject to existing smoke-free legislation, vape-free. This would include inside pubs and other hospitality venues\u201d, Dalton added.<\/p>\n
With the new law, it is aimed to turn the restrictions into a nationwide legal requirement, as many pubs already prohibit indoor vaping as a matter of policy.<\/p>\n
Researchers say that the imminent disposable vapes ban may have a \u201climited impact\u201d on the number of people using e-cigarettes, however.<\/p>\n
Doctors have raised alarm over high levels of vaping among children worldwide, as it is said to raise the risk of a stroke by a third.<\/p>\n
While according to new study, vaping is worse than smoking cigarettes.<\/p>\n
